We should not stop studying. We should continue to learn new strategies and programs that will help us to understand the diversity of the learners and what strategies we can apply to achieve learning.

Having an exposure to different teaching methodologies and approaches will develop our teaching practice. And you could be asked by other teachers to share to them the new learning’s and might appoint you as a point of contact that will lead you to promotion.

political beliefs, or other ideologies.By understanding the uniqueness of an individual, we can bring out the best in them.

As a future teacher, I would be able to enhance myself by being updated in the current happenings in my profession which includes the learning styles and teaching strategies that I could apply in the future. By becoming sensitive to and being aware of multicultural groups other than my own, respects and never make assumptions by knowing your students individually.

With the teacher exchange program, we would be able to expand our experience beyond the four sides of the classroom for us to achieve global competitiveness. For example, Fulbrigh Teaching exchange Programsit provides opportunities for teachers to participate in direct exchanges of positions with colleagues from other countries for a semester or a year. By living and working abroad, exchange teachers gain an understanding and appreciation of different educational systems and cultures, and enrich their schools and communities by providing students with new perspectives about the world in which they live.
1. I need to update myself every time in all the changes happening in our education system plus I need to adapt to all the technology rising for better teaching/learning experience. One problem arising is the competence of teachers to the fast paced improvements of teaching tools and I can enhance my skills by learning to use all these tools and be updated to anything the education industry is offering.
ReplyDelete2.With the exchange program, we can experience first-hand different styles, cultures and methods of teaching. For example, in America they only discuss a certain lesson for about 15 minutes then all they do is activities for better understanding and better interaction with the students. If the teacher in America spends more than 15 minutes in talking in front of class, the students tend to leave the class because they believe they will learn more if they are actually doing activities instead of just listening.

ReplyDeleteAs a future educator, I will enhance myself in every changes that will occur. I should be competent in a positive way with my fellow educators in terms of teaching and technology. And as the saying goes, if you are a teacher, you will always continue to learn. Apply the basic principles and add on with the new tools to be more efficient and effective educator.

Having a personal experience with the exchange programs will help us learn more about the other country's culture and methods on how they manage their class and students. We appreciate more if we experience teaching other country's students'. In Korea, in my case, I have a personal experience teaching foreigner students'. It is very different compared to our own style. They want more activities rather than just listening. So I have to adjust my style to fit for them but at the same time I have to teach them also our own style. In that way, we are both learning new thing. And that proves that exchange programs will really help us.
